I would like to add to this, that when going through this process this year of updating flags, it was a very time consuming process this year to do manually. When in the flag setup part of the admin portal, there isn't a place to even see at a glance which students are assigned a flag. You can see how many students have a flag, but then I need to search up individuals students to check their flag settings.

I get around this a little bit because we have grade level classes that if I navigate to the class settings, and look at the student list and there I can see which students have a flag to make sure I didn't miss anyone.

I wish this could be streamlined because it really limits the finactionality of the flags. I would also love to see some of these sync from Veracross or August Schools. Even if then, I'd love for these to be more functional that we could make a greater use of these for short term flags that don't work the same way in those systems. There is such helpful potential here, but it's just not super user friendly yet.
