I would like to see some extended functionality for the new 'Departments; feature.
I would like to be able to assign role permissions to one, or multiple Departments.
For example, allow department coordinators to have oversight of all Courses/Classes mapped in their department.

YES! I had to manually add all Academic leaders to each course in their department to allow them visibility into the course. I would allow for fewer points of error if this could be managed though a role.

Melissa Mack I went the other way, and just made all Academic leaders have edit access across the school in their Role Permission. It would be great to be able to reign this in.
