Sometimes I need to mark a student’s work as late or missing myself - can we have a way to update submission status manually?

This is still one of the biggest issues holding our students back from using Toddle well -- please consider this so strongly that it makes it onto your development plan very soon! Thank you!

I want to be able to click "move to submitted" for situations when a student has completed an assignment in-class but has not clicked to submit the LE. Currently, I can click "closed for submission" but this then leaves the assignment hanging out on the student to-do list and they can't get rid of it.

This has come up a lot in our school as well.

This is essential. It should also be very easy for students and families and teachers to all see when work is late or missing without clicking into the assignment manually. Have missing work flagged.

Very important for our school with multiple adults supporting student work.

I would echo the need for this feature. Thanks!

Agree, this is especially needed for paper submissions, and it would be nice if the flag were visible from the assignment list or gradebook. Flags should include late, missing, incomplete, and excused - all integrated.

This is so incredibly important to our students' executive functioning. Without this, assignments that have been graded and returned to students remain on their "Overdue" tab, and there's nothing they can do to get rid of it. It completely devalues their "Overdue" tab, and makes it so difficult for anyone to know what's really outstanding. Please please please prioritize this!

There can be a disconnect for parents when viewing the submission history of student work without this ability. Sometimes they think that a student is submitted more late work than they are, or that they have less late work than they do as a result of not being able to update submission status manually.
