In some classes, teachers assign different work to different groups of students, such as by grade level or learning group. It would be very helpful to have the ability to tag or group students within a class so that assignments can be targeted to specific groups.

This would allow teachers to easily assign work by grade or other custom groupings, improving flexibility and reducing the need to create multiple classes or duplicate assignments.
