In our current messaging system, SchoolPost, we are able to add forms as a way to respond to an announcement. This means that in the same announcement we can share trip information and then have an attached form where parents give permission, or perhaps a request for boarder parents to give details on their child's movements during the school holidays and then a form where they respond where the child is going, when, etc. Otherwise we'd need to use a third party and put a link into the Toddle announcement (e.g. Microsoft Forms) which isn't as secure for collecting sensitive info.
