This proposal is intended for implementation within the Toddle ecosystem. It leverages existing structures such as teacher profiles, class assignments, student–family relationships, calendars, communication tools, and role-based permissions, while introducing a centralized system for scheduling and managing parent–teacher meetings.
Overview
Create a Teacher–Parent Conference & Meeting Booking module in Toddle that enables schools to plan, publish, book, manage, and report on conferences and meetings in a streamlined, transparent, and data-driven manner.
The module will improve parent experience, staff workload management, and meeting efficiency, while reducing manual coordination and scheduling conflicts.
Purpose and Rationale
The Booking System will:
- Simplify the scheduling of parent–teacher conferences and meetings
- Reduce administrative workload and email back-and-forth
- Provide parents with clear, self-service booking options
- Ensure fair distribution of meeting loads across teachers
- Improve tracking and accountability of parent engagement
