Description:

A teacher (Luc Andre Degrace) reported that when he creates a task and assigns it to a category in the Gradebook, it creates a new column for the individual task. Since he only has one task per category, he would prefer to see only the category total column, rather than both the category total and the individual assignment column.

Current behavior:

When a task is assigned to a category, the Gradebook displays both:

A column for the individual task

A column for the category total

Even with only one task per category, both columns appear

This creates unnecessary clutter in the Gradebook

User's request:

An option to display only the category total column in the Gradebook

Hide individual assignment columns when there is only one task per category

Or a setting to hide individual tasks from the Gradebook view

User's comment:

"The category total is the assignment... there is only 1 assignment per category."
