Description:

Currently, Toddle automatically marks assignments as "No submission" or "Late" only when a submission is required. However, for tasks that do not require a submission — such as quizzes, tests, or in-class assessments — there is no way to explicitly mark a student's work as "missing" or "late" when they are absent or fail to complete it.

Request:

Add functionality that allows teachers to manually mark assignments or assessments as "missing" or "late" even when no submission is required. This could include:

A visible indicator in the gradebook for absent students

The ability to flag incomplete work for non-submission tasks

Clear communication to students/parents about missing/late status
