Attendance & Timetable

It would be very helpful if administrators could select multiple students/teachers and export or view their timetables together in a single table. For example, when we need to arrange a meeting with a group of students, we currently need to identify each student’s classes and blocks separately. A combined timetable view would allow us to see which blocks or time slots the selected students are occupied or available. Ideally, the feature could support: Selecting multiple students Displaying their timetables in one combined view Showing course, block and teacher information Exporting the combined timetable to Excel This would be particularly useful for Student Support, Academic and Attendance teams when trying to find a common available time for a group of students.

When students is absent it should automatically be marked in assignments for the day as missing.

Attendance reminder emails are automatically generated on Toddle, and it becomes a problem when a teacher is away, they still receive attendance reminders.  Is there a way to add a function to Toddle where if we know a teacher is away, we can change who the email is going to (e.g. coverage teacher, or enter an email address of an external teacher on call)

Limited access to teacher for the attendance code and no override access over Attendance manager

If a student has an excused absence recorded, the system does not allow to override it. Additionally, returning to the main attendance sheet is not straightforward, as you have to switch between sections to navigate back to the main attendance page.

Admin and teachers need access to the future dates (teacher to have a view if maximum students will be absent basis excusals raised by the team). Admins (attendance managers to lock absence/ other code for future dates.

While adding an excusal - no option to enter absence with time range (e.g. if a student is absent from 1:30-end of day, you need to know which exact blocks they are missing before you can enter attendance

A simultaneous two-way attendance sync between Toddle and Veracross would allow schools to leverage the best of both systems. We need a two-way simultaneous sync so that class attendance entries in Toddle push into Veracross, and Veracross attendance entries (sports team absences, EOTC class events etc.) automatically updates Toddle attendance. This gives teachers a single interface for daily attendance (in Toddle) while leveraging Veracross's deeper calendar and event management. We want the administrative power of Veracross calendars and events linked to attendance to feed seamlessly back into Toddle for a complete attendance picture. The current one-way sync model forces us to choose between teacher convenience and administrative capability; two-way simultaneous sync gives us both.

We would like the upcoming excusals list to be shown in the order of the closest date first, to furthest away. Right now, we need to scroll all the way to the bottom of our excusal list to see what's happening tomorrow, for example.
