One of my teachers wrote this with reference to grading DP IAs, but it would help in other areas, too. When viewing IA files submitted as pdfs you can click "Annotate" and add comments for students directly to their document. This is great! HOWEVER, if you don't click save, all of the comments you put on the document just disappear. And, since the right side of the window is the file browser where you can see all of a students IA files at once, it is very tempting to click back to another file to compare something, or look at something related without thinking much about it. The number of times I've clicked the next document without remembering to manually click save is frustrating. The only change it needs is a check for unsaved data that brings up a warning message that gives you a chance to save before leaving the page. That, or an auto-save system for their annotations. From a coding standpoint, I don't think this would be a hard change for their website programmers.
