Allow Assignment of Multiple Supervisors to a Single MYP Personal Project and Community Project
Current Problem / Pain Point The current platform restricts project supervision to a one-to-one model (one student = one supervisor). This does not reflect the reality of many educational settings where collaborative supervision is beneficial or necessary. Limited Support Structure: Some students require guidance in different areas. For example, a student might need a subject matter expert for their project content and a different teacher to guide them on the process or academic writing. Shared Supervision Load: In some schools, supervision duties are shared among a team, especially for large cohorts or complex interdisciplinary projects. Mentorship Teams: Schools often want to provide students with a mentorship team (e.g., a primary supervisor and a co-supervisor) to ensure comprehensive support. User Quote: "Is it possible to assign more than one teacher supervisor for each personal project and community project?" Desired Solution Allow coordinators and administrators to assign two or more supervisors to a single student's project. The primary supervisor could be designated as the main point of contact, while additional supervisors could have co-supervisor or mentor roles. All assigned supervisors should ideally have: Visibility into the student's project progress. The ability to provide feedback and comments. The ability to view submissions and participate in evaluations (if permissions allow). The coordinator should have control to add or remove supervisors as needed throughout the project lifecycle.
