Attendance & Timetable

Could we please set up AM and PM attedance marking just like daily attendance especially for UK schools based on government requirement, currently the only workaround is showing this through periods and that means that specific period has to be added on timetable as a view which isnt ideal

In the DP, we have many combined HL & SL classes and we can select whether students are HL or SL when we place them in the class and also when we send out assignments. However, on the timetable, there is no tab for selecting whether a class is HL only or combined HL & SL. This leads to SL students being placed in classes that they aren't even in and leads to errors in the calculation of a student's attendance. The request: Add a button in the timetable to be able to designate a class as HL or SL or both. Thanks!

Allows us to send an automatic or direct email notification to parents when a student’s attendance is missed or when their attendance drops below 85% or any custom range

Toddle app/website automatically pop up a reminder to take attendance when I have a class.

Our school currently tracks attendance at the period level for each class. At the moment, we rely on a reference lesson to determine the student’s overall attendance status for the day, which requires manual marking. We would like the ability for Toddle to automatically calculate a student’s daily attendance status based on their period attendance. For example, if a student misses three or more periods in a day, the system could automatically mark the student as “Absent” for the day. Similarly, other rules could determine whether a student is marked Present or Partially Present depending on the number of periods attended. Having this automated would reduce manual work for teachers and ensure that daily attendance more accurately reflects a student’s presence across all their classes

Currently, the "reason" field in the Family App is not mandatory. It would be best to make this a required field to prevent the Attendance Manager from having to follow up with families to obtain the reason for the excusal.

DP students do not always have a scheduled class during the designated attendance registration lesson. We therefore need a mechanism that calculates the percentage of scheduled lessons a student attended on a given day, and automatically marks them as present in the daily attendance if that percentage meets or exceeds a defined threshold (e.g. 60%).

We need a way to partially enrol students so that Attendance does not start until they are physically in their classes.

There should be an option to download a filtered report at a class level when downloading Student summary report from Attendance dashboard. OR When downloading Class wise attendance records, please provide categories in the report- Present, Absent Excused and Absent Unexcused data, both in total and in percentage.
