estore Learning Experience Planning Workflow from Toddle 1.0
The school has raised a concern regarding the current Learning Experience workflow within the Unit Flow/ Course flow Previous Workflow (Toddle 1.0): Teachers could create or import Learning Experiences directly within the Unit Flow as part of their planning process. These Learning Experiences were simply saved as planning artifacts and did not display any status such as "Draft" or "Assigned to Students." When teachers wanted students to interact with a specific Learning Experience, they would explicitly assign it from the Assignments section. This clearly separated planning from student-facing tasks. Current Workflow (Toddle 2.0): After creating or importing a Learning Experience (or task), teachers are prompted to either Save as Draft or Assign to Students. The presence of these options immediately after creation gives the impression that every Learning Experience is intended to be a student-facing task. The "Draft" label is also visible, which is causing confusion for teachers who are using the Unit Flow purely for instructional planning. School's Request: The school would like the workflow to match the Toddle 1.0 experience. Specifically, they would like teachers to be able to create or import Learning Experiences within the Unit Flow without displaying the "Draft" or "Assign to Students" states at the planning stage. Student assignment should remain an intentional action that teachers perform later through the Assignments section, preserving a clear distinction between planning and classroom delivery.
