Description: A school admin (Patrick Byrne) reported that teachers cannot delete messages in their class chat channels within the Messaging module, but admins can. Problem Statement When a parent sends a message to a staff member (teacher, administrator, etc.) through Toddle's messaging system, the staff member currently does not receive any push notification or email notification unless they manually check the platform. The only notification option currently available in the Notifications Manager is for Attendance Excusal, not for general family messages. Current Behavior Staff members must proactively log into Toddle to check if they have received any messages from families. No push notification is sent to their device. No email notification is triggered. This leads to delayed responses and missed communications. Desired Solution Enable push notifications and/or email notifications for staff members when: A family member (parent/guardian) sends a message to a staff member via Toddle. The notification should be configurable in the Notifications Manager under staff settings.

Improve the readability and add school names in the announcement emails

Would be great for teachers to be able to manually send email summaries of overdue/missing assignments as an option so they can select certain students to notify families about missing work without having to send to the entire school. Having more control at the teacher/class/course level would be very helpful

This would support more effective pastoral and academic coordination, especially when multiple teachers and the advisor need to be informed or aligned regarding a student’s progress, concerns, or interventions. Ideally, this could be accessed from the student profile, allowing authorised staff to quickly notify all relevant teachers without messaging them individually.

Allow admins to select modules that appear in the summary emails for parents so emails stay focused and useful

Implement status control for the notifications center, allowing users to archive or delete specific alerts. This feature will enable better task tracking by letting users clear processed information while preserving important reminders, significantly reducing interface clutter and improving overall information governance.

Show teacher email addresses in classes for parents and students

When parents (or staff or students) look at the notification settings, they see several "disabled by admin" notification categories. Many of these are for modules that we don't use. The parents often ask us "Why am I not allowed to get notifications when my student is involved in a behavior incident?" or something, and we have to explain that we don't use that module. It would simplify the user's view and our admin's lives to just hid notifications that are disabled by admin so they don't even appear in the list.
